Musical in the Dark- Teatru Malta

Soppy post alert! So at the end of last year I auditioned for a musical, the opportunity had been sent to me and at first I thought nah I’m not a confident singer and I’ve never really been in a musical before. I decided to go for it, mostly for the audition experience and singing practice, I really didn’t think I’d get it…but I did get it, to my absolute shock. I was all set to spend most of January in Malta to rehearse, then Miss Rona started attention seeking again so everything was moved to zoom. The day before our rehearsals, I was a nervous wreck. I had a little imposter syndrome moment and blah blah blah
Well fast forward a week and a bit and we’ve recorded an entire musical from our bedrooms. I’ve been working with the most incredible, hard working team, who made the process an absolute pleasure, 100% a highlight of my year. I’ve achieved things I never thought I would and have had the privilege to be apart of something really special. I know you should always go for things you want, but sometimes it’s easier said than done, the last week really has taught me not to give your own self doubt too much power and just WERK IT. I’ve been on quite the little journey, and all from the comfort of my spare room! Thank you team, can’t wait to meet you in person and share musical in the dark.
